ARES Unicorder Home Sleep Test (HST) Report (Type II Device)
Advanced Diagnostic Solutions Inc.(ADSI) over the summer partnered with Watermark Medical to bring our patients and referral sources a new way to test and diagnose patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The ARES Unicorder report features much needed data that physicians have requested to better diagnose their patients using sophisticated equipment that is comparable to sleep labs' PSG equipment.
- Snoring is recorded using a calibrated microphone to identify snoring levels and length of loudest snoring events
- Head Position/Movement is identified with the ARES and identifies which position is more likely or less likely to cause Apnea events
- ARES calculates Sleep/Awake time to identify sleep efficiency and calculates awake AHI given patients severity with OSA while awake
- While using key signals (EEG, EOG & EMG) the ARES identifies REM and NREM sleep with simple forehead sensors and calculates AHI on the report
- Pulse Oximetry is calculated by simple forehead sensors to determine the AHI and RDI for patients
ApneaLink Plus Home Sleep Test (HST) Report (Type III Device)
This Sleep Test is a standard, manually scored by a RPSGT, home sleep test. The HST is sent to the ordering physician and DME supplier, if applicable. All reports come standard with a two-page report and a interpretation/reccomendation by one of of board certified sleep physicians.
- Risk indicator shows severity of patients potential apnea through the recorded AHI
- Respiratory Effort, Nasal Airflow and Pulse Oximetry recorded and shown on report
- Easy to read results and interpretation
